WaveNodes does not provide investment advice or research services and is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. Nothing published on this website or produced by our software is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or derivative, and nothing is tailored to any individual's finances, objectives or risk profile. Risk Disclosure on Derivatives

According to SEBI's study on individual traders in the equity Futures & Options (F&O) segment:

• 9 out of 10 individual traders in the equity F&O segment incurred net losses.
• On average, loss-makers registered a net trading loss of close to ₹50,000.
• Over and above the net trading losses, loss-makers spent an additional 28% of their net trading losses on transaction costs.
• Those making net trading profits incurred between 15% and 50% of such profits as transaction costs.

Source: SEBI study dated January 25, 2023 on "Analysis of Profit and Loss of Individual Traders dealing in equity Futures and Options (F&O) Segment". Later SEBI studies have reported similar findings.
